Memorial Day feels like an appropriate time to say thank you for your donation to our First Pitch event. Congratulations to our winner John Gogarty. We can’t wait to see you on the links in October.

Mother Nature remained undefeated and the game was rained out, but Rick Ranft and Ron Dollard had the privilege of addressing the young men at practice that afternoon and sharing some stories of Marty and what an impact he had on both Morris Catholic High School and St. Peter’s University. A special thanks to MCHS Head Baseball Coach Nick Berg and his staff as well as the ultimate team Mom, Nicole Wickenheisser. We are so blessed to have your commitment and support.

To everyone who donated, it is because of your generosity and consideration that we exist. Together, we raised almost $1,000 which will go directly to scholarships at both institutions where a deserving student athlete will become part of Marty’s legacy.

Today, as we remember our brave men and women who gave all in service to our country, please also pause to remember our friend Marty and so many others who’s sacrifice may not have been on the battlefield. Their loss has meaning and must not be forgotten.

And because of people like you, it won’t be.
