Friends of Marty is proud to announce David Marin as the next recipient of the Friends and Family of Marty Boryczewski Scholarship. David will receive $5,000 towards his tuition at Morris Catholic High School in each of the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years.

Much like Marty was, David Marin is a member of the Morris Catholic varsity soccer team. He has been a life-long soccer fan. One could say that soccer is one of David’s true passions in life.

In addition to his passion for soccer, David also enjoys listening to music, but David’s passions are not limited simply to things he enjoys. David gives of himself in service to the less fortunate. David remarked, “Seeing other people experience joy, brings a smile to my face.”

When not in school or playing soccer, David works as a landscaper. David is extremely grateful to the Friends of Marty for selecting him to receive this scholarship and he thanks everyone who has sacrificed to make this scholarship possible so he can attend Morris Catholic.
